Graduated in Electronic Engineering. Since 1991 she has been working at INRCA, dealing development ad management of HIS (Health information system). In the last year as chief of Laboratory of Bioinformatics, Bioengineering and Domotics, Lorena’s main interest is in organisation and management of research projects concerning the usage of technologies, informatics and telematics in particular, for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the aging diseases and application of Ambient Assisted Living and Smart Home technologies in the framework of assistance activities to elderly people.

Dr.ssa Elisa FELICI
Graduated in Psychology, specialised in Clinical and Community, at University of Urbino in 2006 with a work on the Psychology of Emergency. She gained experience on personality disorders at the Center for Mental Health of the public service of Ancona in 2007. She is collaborator for the research at INRCA since 2010 where she gained experience in European projects on technology such as SMILING, HAPPY AGEING, ROBOT-ERA and IRHOLA. Her main research interests are the acceptance of technology by the older end-users and its psychosocial impact, and their relationship with the psychological health.

Angelo Rossi Mori
Angelo Rossi Mori is a researcher on eHealth at the Istituto Tecnologie Biomediche, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, in Rome. His research is focussed on comparative studies about design principles and evaluation of impact of National and Regional eHealth strategies. He is developing methodologies to deploy ICT-enhanced health policies at National or Regional levels, for a balanced diffusion of ICT across the health sectors. He assisted the Health Regional Authorities of Sicilia, Campania, Calabria about a sustainable approach to eHealth and modern telemedicine. Other research topics involve the semantics of clinical terminologies, clinical datasets, EHR, clinical pathways. He was and is involved in several EU Projects (GALEN, KAVAS, IREP, GALEN-IN-USE, TOMELO, C-CARE, PROREC, WIDENET, EHR-Q-TN, eHealth ERA, RIDE, ANCIEN, STOPandGO). He was active in the standardization on health informatics, contributing to the creation of CEN/TC251 and ISO/TC215; in HL7 he was member of the Technical Steering Committee and co-chair of the Templates SIG.

Marco Nalin is Program Manager in the R&D department of Telbios S.R.L., in Milan. He achieved his M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Padua, in 2005. From 2004 to 2012 he worked at the Hospital San Raffaele of Milan, in the “e-Services for Life and Health” department, cooperating to several tele-health related projects, most of which co-funded by the European Community. His technical skills ranges from remote patients’ monitoring, to mobile health, to cognitive and surgery robotics, to cloud computing.
Received his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering in 1984 from the Politecnico of Torino. After acquiring practical work experience in different industries, in Italy and European countries, he joined the Department of Production Systems and Business Economics at the Politecnico of Turin in 1993 as an Assistant Professor, and now teaches Project Management, Industrial Plants and Supply Chain Management as Full Professor. From 2014 is Director of the Master and LifeLong School of Politecnico di Torino.
He teaches in several executive courses on project management, project risk management, and supply chain management. He is involved in several EU and national research programs. He is also coordinator for research projects in Italy and with international universities. He is developing research projects on logistics in health care sector for various Italian regions. He has been involved in academic activity for foreign universities as MIT in Boston, Tongji in Shanghai, and IIT in Addis Abeba. He also teaches at the International Training Center of United Nations in Torino campus.
His publications focus on Project and Risk Management, Supply Chain Management, Health Care Logistics, and Safety.
Loreto Gesualdo, MD, is a Professor of Nephrology at the University “Aldo Moro”of Bari and Chief of the Department of Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplantation at the University Hospital “Policlinico” in Bari in Italy. He is President of the Regional Centres for Agri Technology (Ce.R.T.A. s.c.a.r.l.) and Member in the Executive Board of H-BIO Puglia District. Professor Gesualdo is a member of the Italian Society of Nephrology (SIN), the International Society of Nephrology (ISN), the American Society of Nephrology (ASN), the Renal Pathology Society (RPS) and the European Macrophage and Dendritic Cell Society (EMDS). Council Member, ERA-EDTA, Member Steering Committee of Immunonephrology Working Group, ERA-EDTA.
He is in the editorial board of 5 international journals and “peer reviewer” for 15 International Journals.
Professor Gesualdo has authored 381 papers in refereed journals, has over 5.847 citations, and his impact factor is greater than 1.100, H-score 42.
